Garage House is open to the public Monday 10am - 5pm and Thursdays 10 am - 5pm
The rest of the week is dedicated to completing orders. Please do not disturb the shop on other days. This is especially important because my reactive dog works alongside me when the shop is closed.

I have taken on repairs for fire and trails crews and can adjust my billing and invoicing to the needs of your agency.
Its best to plan crew backpack repairs before your season is over, so the individuals using the packs can clean and clearly identify the issues with each item

I no longer vend at the Methow Valley Farmers Market due to the shop’s proximity. I do plan to be open on some Saturdays during the market—watch for signage and come on by!

Tangent and Garage House co-exist in the same shop space. Behind the scenes we share some equipment, ideas, expertise, and friendship. We aim to keep things collaborative and supportive rather than competitive, and often refer folks to one another when a job is better suited for the other.

Even if the lights are on, I’m working and need uninterrupted time and space. To be fully transparent, this rule is in place to protect your peace. On days that the shop is not open, my nervous dog works along side me. She will bark, it may be scary for you, and it will be disruptive for me. Please respect this boundary.

Yes, but mailing repairs isn’t always ideal due to shipping costs. I’m happy to help you find a repair person closer to you if needed.
For custom work, shipping is one-way, so it’s more practical, happy to collaborate.

Yes! The Trango bus ($1 cash) can bring you to Twisp.
I’ve worked with many PCT hikers—reach out ahead of time and I may be able to complete your repair on the spot (rush fees apply).

Yes, selectively, and mostly for services. I typically trade hour for hour.
